Although, the APC candidate won more local government areas, Obi defeated Tinubu with the majority of the votes cast in the state.
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party has won the Lagos presidential election, defeating APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
According to AriseTV, though Tinubu won more local government areas, Obi defeated him with most of the votes.
All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared. Tinubu won in 11, while Obi won in nine local government areas.
With the results declared, Obi polled 582,454, while Tinubu scored 541,850.
