Interestingly, the two teams have already met once this season with Brighton coming out on top in the third round of the Carabao Cup, but they can expect to face a much stronger Arsenal outfit this evening as Mikel Arteta’s side look to maintain their lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Both sides hit the ground running following the World Cup break with 3-1 wins over Southampton and West Ham United respectively on Boxing Day and will now be aiming to close out 2022 in style.
