Arsenal vs Brighton‘s match started with full attacking forces. Trossard’s clearance is deflected into the path of Undav, who takes his time before chipping the ball neatly over Ramsdale. The Arsenal defenders run after it, but they can’t get that as the Seagulls deal a potentially crushing blow. Brigthon have been excellent today and deserve their lead.
The Argentine winger has a go from distance and hits it just wide of the post. That could have been the game. The hosts bring on Reiss Nelson and Thomas Partey as they look for a way back into the game. A loss would all but end their title hopes as it would put City four points clear with a game in hand. Brighton make a surprisingly aggressive change as Welbeck comes on for Gilmour.
Both sides make more changes as the impressive Ferguson is replaced by Buonaotte for Brighton and Arteta brings Smith Rowe on for Odegaard. Excellent ball from Odegaard and Trossard is played into the box. He’s in a really good position, but his first time shot is straight at Steele, who catches the ball easily. That’s summed up Arsenal today, they’ve been in some excellent positions but the finishing has been poor.

Enciso puts the visitors in front! They’ve deserves that this afternoon, although Arsenal have been good since the break. A slightly lucky goal there, as Brighton work the ball nicely into Estupinan on the left wing. His initial cross is blocked next to him, but his second takes a fortunate bounce and falls perfectly for Enciso, who heads in a straightforward chance. It looks like Kiwor hurt himself in the build up and was on the ground as the goal was scored, although he looks OK now.
De Zerbi’s men were the better side overall, though, as they enjoyed more of the ball and used it well to trouble the Gunners’ fullbacks. They’re passing round the back was risky as ever and did hand the hosts a couple of opportunities, but Arsenal’s passing was never crisp enough to really capitalise.
