Karnan is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Mari Selvaraj, and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under his V Creations banner. The film stars Dhanush, Lal, Yogi Babu, Azhagam Perumal, Natarajan Subramaniam, Rajisha Vijayan, Gouri G. Kishan and Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli.
Karnan might seem like a familiar tale of struggle between the oppressed and oppressor, but Mari Selvaraj’s detailing makes the film feel both unique and universal at the same time.
