Leeds vs Manchester City (EPL 2022/23)

MANCHESTER CITY make the relatively short trip across the Pennines to face Leeds United who are also resuming their Premier League campaign.

Pep Guardiola’s side returned to action last week in a Carabao Cup win against Liverpool, but how much of that we can take from that looking forward to this one is debatable.

One constant of course is goals from Erling Haaland and the Norwegian has some catching up to do having watched the World Cup instead of playing in it. He scored against Liverpool.

Leeds seemed to have turned the corner somewhat under Jesse Marsch before the break having won at Liverpool and edged out Bournemouth in the league to end a worrying run of four defeats in a row.

However, the Yorkshire side have a load of injury worries and he’s not helped with the suspension of Tyler Adams. City will be without World Cup hero Julian Alvarez and Ruben Dias is injured.
