Rabat – Morocco’s Atlas Lions will begin their quest for World Cup glory with a clash against the 2018 World Cup runner-up Croatia on Wednesday, and predictions are in favor of Luka Modric’s squad to defeat the opposition.
The match, which will take place at 11:00 Moroccan time at the Al Bayt Stadium, marks Group F’s opening match at the global tournament. The World Cup draw placed both teams in Group F, alongside Belgium and Canada.
Morocco also appeared in the 2018 World Cup, making this their second appearance in a row. In total Morocco has participated in six World Cup tournaments. The 1986 World Cup in Mexico was Morocco’s best performance as they qualified for the tournament’s round of 16.
