Newcastle’s excellent winning run that includes victories over Man City and PSG, as well as an 8-0 thrashing of Sheffield United, finally came to an end last time out when they drew 2-2 away at West Ham.
Palace, meanwhile, will be even happier with their start to the season, sitting ninth in the table, just one point behind Newcastle with the second-best defensive record in the Premier League.
