Veteran actor Yemi Solade has revealed that fellow actor and filmmaker Osmond Gbadebo battled with a terminal ailment for years before his death.
Osmond’s death was announced on Monday, May 30, by some of his colleagues like Kunle Afod, Madam Saje, Afeez Owo, and Zainab Bakare.
Reacting to the tragic loss in an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 31, Yemi Solade said Osmond battled a terminal ailment for years and lost the battle. He wrote:
“He battled a terminal ailment for years. Lost the fight. Adieu Osmond.”
In his tribute to the deceased, actor Jide Awobona said the times he bumped into Osmond, the deceased said that he was getting better. Jide also said that though the actor and filmmaker had lost weight, he was still strong and sound.
