International Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo unveil a new recommended project album “Queen Of Sheba”.
Beninese singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo alongside Ibrahim Maalouf a French-Lebanese jazz trumpeter and composer delivers on an intriguing body of work titled “Queen Of Sheba“.
“Queen Of Sheba” is a replica of the Biblical ancient story of a Queen who heard about the reputation of King Solomon and journeyed to Jerusalem to see for herself. The concept of the LP sparked into light when Kidjo and Maalouf first met in New York back in 2018, then came the idea of blending the music & culture of their backgrounds.
The body of work contains 7-tracks with a great performance by Maalouf highlighted throughout the album with blended vocals from Kidjo. Before now, she has dropped an album “Mother Nature” in 2021 with a follow-up (Synematik Remix) of one of her tracks on the LP “Choose Love” released a couple of months ago.
