Australia win a corner after some more questionable defending from Argentina, but it takes Hrustic some time to swing the ball in as Martinez, Souttar, Baccus and De Paul all get involved in a bit of push-and-shove. Martinez’s goal-kick almost catches Australia out of cold, before Souttar sticks out a leg to prevent Di Maria from latching onto the ball and deny him a one vs one with Ryan.Argentina come forward again, but a brilliant team move that releases Di Maria results in a tame header by Messi that ends straight into Ryan’s arms.
