
Nuno Espirito Santo got his West Ham reign off to a positive start on Monday night but now faces a big step up in class with a London derby against title-chasing Arsenal. The former Wolves, Spurs and Nottingham Forest boss only had 48 hours to prepare for a trip to Everton after being named as Graham Potter’s successor.
But he steered the Hammers to a 1-1 draw away from home, with a fouls double landing for The Betting Desk, and there were plenty of positives for the new manager to take. West Ham will need an even better display to take something home from the Emirates though, with Arsenal hunting down Liverpool at the top.
