Australia and Denmark meet in their final Group D game at Al Janoub Stadium this afternoon on Kilamity live stream.
The Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah will host seven matches across the tournament, with it being one of the main bases for the group stages.
The 40,000-capacity stadium’s design pays tribute to Al Wakrah’s seafaring history of pearl diving and fishing by perfectly reflecting the wind-filled sails of traditional dhow boats. The stadium has a retractable roof and a innovative cooling system, which will provide some much needed shade for both fans and players.
Following the tournament, the stadium’s capacity will be reduced to 20,000 for the matches of local side Al-Wakrah SC, while other long-term benefits will include a school, wedding hall, restaurants, marketplaces and parkland.
