Nigerian celebrities have continued to write Nigeria’s name on the map of international recognition as some win big at the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (Afrimma).
The Afrimma award show held on Sunday, September, 17, at the prestigious Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas, US.
The Nigerian artiste beat other global stars across Africa in their category to secure the prized trophy.

Popular Nigerian superstar, Davido’s Timeless won the Afrimma Album of the year, beat Asake’s work of art, Omah Lay’s boy alone deluxe among others.
Mavins signee, Ayra Starr emerged as the Best female West Africa ahead of Tems, Tiwa Savage, Ammarae, Gyakie among others.
Renowned artiste, Timaya became the holder of Afrimma lifetime achievement award while rapper Odumodu Blvck won the best new comer.
Musician, Flavour won the best live act with KCee, who went home with Afrimma Legendary award.
The best collaboration goes to Spryo and Tiwa Savage’s ‘Who’s your guy?” Popular Nollywood actress and Disc Jockey, Dorcas Shola Fapson, won award for the best DJ Africa.
Blaqbone won the Best male rap act at the award show.
