Bayern Munich sauntered into the last 16 of the Champions League after amassing five wins from five games. Those successes put them alongside Liverpool and Ajax, the other two teams holding perfect group records.
If Robert Lewandowski is in the mood to score on Wednesday, there’s no reason to think that Bayern can’t make it six out of six.

Barcelona are in big trouble. Said to be £1bn in debt and effectively bankrupt, La Blaugrana have taken a miserable seven points from five games, and now find themselves at risk of crashing out of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League. The last time the five-time winners exited from the competition at this stage, Pep Guardiola was team captain.
As it stands, Barca are in the runner’s up spot, just two points above Portuguese side Benfica. But if Benfica – who have a better head-to-head record than Barcelona – beat Dynamo Kiev in their final Group E match, Barca could find themselves contesting the Europa League later in the season. Unthinkable.
