Brighton vs Liverpool (EPL 2022/23

BRIGHTON have hit their stride under new boss Roberto De Zerbi and can jump above Liverpool in the Premier League table if they beat the inconsistent Reds on the south coast.

The Italian failed to win any of his first five games in charge but has since racked up six victories in nine games to make Seagulls fans forget about Graham Potter.

The goals have been flying in for Brighton, with 14 scored in their last four games, so they will fancy their chances against a Liverpool defence that has been looking vulnerable.

Jurgen Klopp’s side seem to have lost their mojo this season and the Anfield giants have won just two of their five games since returning from the World Cup break.

Those victories over Aston Villa and Leicester were also far from convincing and Klopp needs to shore up a rearguard that has been leaking goals and is now missing Virgil van Dijk.
