Team Canada is facing the possibility of elimination after falling to Australia, 70-65, in its second game of group play at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Minnesota Lynx forward Bridget Carleton was the leading scorer for Canada in that contest, finishing with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. Kia Nurse contributed 12 points, but she connected on just three of her 14 field goal attempts.
