Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first ever AFC Champions League goal as Al-Nassr fought back from a goal down to defeat Istiklol 3-1 in Riyadh on Monday.
The Saudi Pro League side were stunned in the first half when Senin Sebal opened the scoring, but Ronaldo equalized in the 66th minute with a lovely dinked finish over the goalkeeper.
The Brazilian forward Talisca then scored the other two goals to seal Al-Nassr’s victory.
Ronaldo’s goal was his first in Asian competition since he joined Al-Nassr in the summer, and it was a fitting moment for the Portuguese superstar.

He has now scored in every major club competition that he has played in, and he is showing no signs of slowing down at the age of 38.
The victory was Al-Nassr’s second in a row in the AFC Champions League, and it puts them in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages.
Ronaldo will be hoping to lead his new team to glory in the competition, and he is certainly off to a good start.
He has scored 17 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions this season, and he has also helped to improve the team’s overall level of play.
The Saudi Arabian team has achieved a remarkable feat by winning nine consecutive matches in all competitions.

Ronaldo’s goal was a special moment for the Portuguese superstar, who is also currently the all-time leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League with 140 goals.
