Chelsea will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they play host to London rivals Brentford on Saturday afternoon. Enzo Maresca’s time in charge of Chelsea was brought to an end at the start of the month following a run of just one win from seven in the top flight.
Since then, the 8th-placed Blues have battled to a 1-1 draw away at Man City before losing 2-1 at neighbours Fulham. New boss Liam Rosenior then oversaw a 5-1 FA Cup win over Charlton, but has since seen his side suffer a 3-2 home defeat to Arsenal in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final. As for Brentford, they will make the short trip across the capital surveying the standings from the lofty heights of 5th place.
