Crystal Palace vs Tottenham (EPL 2022/23)

TWO Premier League teams who suffered contrasting fortunes last time out lock horns on Wednesday night, as Crystal Palace welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Selhurst Park.

Patrick Viera’s side resumed their top-flight campaign following the World Cup break with a 3-0 defeat at home to Fulham on Boxing Day.

However, the Eagles bounced back from that setback at the first time of asking by bagging a 2-0 win at Bournemouth on New Year’s Eve.

Palace chief Viera will be hoping that south coast success will act as a springboard for further improvement ahead of a midweek meeting with London neighbours Tottenham.

After an encouraging start to the season, it would be fair to say some of Spurs’ recent performances have made for uninspiring viewing, the most recent of which was a 2-0 reverse at home to Aston Villa.
