Ekiti election: APC deputy governorship candidate, Afuye wins polling unit

The first set of results in the on ongoing gubernatorial election in Ekiti State have begun to trickle in.

The Deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Mrs Mojisola Afuye, has won her polling unit for the ruling party.

Afuye voted at Atiba Aafin Ward 1, unit 003, in Ikere Ekiti.

APC polled a total of 165 votes to defeat SDP and PDP, who polled some 3 and 7 paltry votes respectively.

While the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Wole Oluyede, who is an indigene of Ikere Ekiti, scored 27 votes.
