Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard, has offered his honest opinion about Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang and Odegaard played together at Arsenal during the Gabonese’s time at Emirates.
He scored 92 goals and provided 21 assists in 163 matches for the Gunners.
However, his fallout with head coach Mikel Arteta resulted in his contract being terminated in January 2022.
Aubameyang then joined Barcelona before joining Chelsea last summer.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League tie with Chelsea on Tuesday night, Odegaard said (via Football London): “We will welcome Auba [Aubameyang] back tonight as well. I played with him a bit before he left here, and I know about the amazing things he did here before that.
“He had some really good moments here, especially winning the FA Cup. We remember the great things he did for the club, and he’s a great guy as well.”
