The match between Nottingham Forest vs Man United started with full attacking forces.
After a surained spell of pressure from United, Antony runs across the line of the Forest area and curls a low shot just wide of the far post. He gets a 1-2 on the edge of the box, and fires off a fierce shot, which Keylor Navas is able to tip onto the bar.
An excellent chance, and a goal Bruno would have deserved for his performance. Man United have been relentless the last five minutes but they haven’t got the goal and that in itself is a minor victory for Forest. Some of their supporters are snapping at Steve Cooper, especially over the non-existent defending at set-pieces. Weghorst has ended his warm up but has sat back down.

Bruno Fernandes takes a left-wing corner short to Eriksen, who eases it back to Fernandes on the left side of the area. He hits a vicious shot on the run that is touched onto the crossbar by Navas, leaping to his left. That is an outrageous save. Jadon Sancho plays it to Bruno Fernandes, who plays it back to Sancho. His ball spins across the face of the goal but there’s no one there to dispatch it, and Nottingham Forest clear their lines.
Anthony Martial has had a significant hand in United’s last three goals now. This was good again from the striker, he picked his moment to pick the pocket of United’s defenders and forced a good save from Navas with his shot.
