Recall that Happie Boys became popular after they were sacked as security guards for dancing on duty at a fast food company in Nigeria. After the news of their sack got viral, they were awarded educational scholarship to study in Cyprus by a popular man of God, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

Their new found fortune would turn soar after a video appeared online where the two boys accused the man of God of abandoning them in Cyprus. The pastor explained that he had asked them to return to Nigeria to continue their studies after Nigeria’s exchange rates spiked due to economic policies. Happie Boys would later release an audio of Pastor Chinyere laying a curse on them for publicly dragging him on the internet despite his kindness to them.

The man of God later recanted the curse and went further to acquire them return flight tickets back to Nigeria. However, at the same time, a certain Nigerian doctor based in the United states, Dr. Ochu Daniel promised to link them to the Vice President of Cyprus for a better life. Happie Boys subsequently uploaded another video rejecting the offer to return to Nigeria by Apostle Chinyere.
