How to check 2023 NECO SSCE results with your phone

The National Examination Council (NECO) released the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination results on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

According to the Registrar of the examination body, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, the result summary shows that 61.60 percent scored five credits, including English and Mathematics.

12,030, representing 0.07 percent, against 13,594, representing 0.13 percent in 2022.

The Number of candidates who registered for the exam was 1,205,888, and the number of candidates who sat for the exams was 1,196,985.

The examination council disclosed that 93 Schools were found to be involved in whole-school (mass) cheating while 52 Supervisors were recommended for blacklisting due to poor supervision, aiding, and abetting during the examinations.

Candidates are advised to get the result-checking token from the NECO website.

Here is how to Check the NECO Result:

Step 1: Go to NECO result checking portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng/

Step 2: Pick your exam year. i.e., 2023

Step 3: Pick your exam type. i.e., SSCE INTERNAL (JUN/JUL)

Step 4: Enter your Token Number sent to the mobile number provided.

Step 5: Enter your registration number in the appropriate columns.

Step 5: Finally, click on the “check result button” to access your NECO result.

If you follow the simple steps outlined above, by now you should be seeing your grades in each subject.
