On her mission to use her influence to seek justice for Mohbad, popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken to social media to give an update on the late singer’s death.
Taking to her verified Instagram page today, October 17th 2023, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that Mohbad’s case is now at the federal level as it is been transferred to the Directorate of Public Prosecution known as Ministry of Justice.
She added that Mohbad’s remains have not been released yet as the police are still waiting on the Toxicology results (Autopsy).

Iyabo Ojo stated that Mohbad’s wife Omowunmi who has been accused by many as a suspect has been interrogated 3times by the police and has not been found guilty as a suspect.
She added that Naira Marley ex-signee, DJ Splash has been released from the custody by the police.
Iyabo Ojo in a lenghty post wrote;
“Update on Mohbad’s case:
The case has been transferred to the DPP……Directorate of Public Prosecution, Ministry of Justice, while the police say they are still waiting on the toxicology results ….
Mohbad’s remains have not yet been released,

Also, Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated 3 times to the best of my knowledge, 2 out of the 3times was the day you all saw Mohbad’s dad televised by the police in which they addressed the public on Mohbad’s case, later that same day Mohbad’s dad, mum and wife was sent to Panti for interrogation and to write their statement, another day Mohbad’s wife was interrogated was the 21st of September 2023….. reason why Tonto and Sentor Ishaku Abbo met her absences….
Please note that the cctv camera in Mohbad’s house was never fixed or connected, it has no BVR nor Hard disk
