The Super Falcons of Nigeria defeated Ethiopia 4-0 in the second leg of their 2024 Olympic qualifier on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
The first leg of the tie ended 1-1 in Addis Ababa meaning Nigeria won the encounter 5-1 on aggregate.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria have advanced to the next round of Olympic qualifiers. They will face the winners of the second round between Cameroon and Uganda.
Uchenna Kanu scored the first goal in the 45th minute, calmly finishing after a great counterattack from the home team.
At the start of the second half, Ajibade scored Nigeria’s second goal from close range after being assisted by Uchenna Kanu.
Asisat Oshoala scored the third goal of the match by heading in a brilliant cross from Uchenna Kanu in the 68th minute.
Four minutes later, Asisat Oshoala once again charged in from the right to assist Rasheedat Ajibade’s second goal, securing Nigeria’s fourth goal of the game.

Super Falcons will face the winner of the match between Cameroon and Uganda.
The winner of the last qualifying stage will represent Africa at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
