They played one of the most nail biting match this season against Brentford in their previous matchday as both the teams were on top of their game. Although Brentford opened the scoring in the 27th minute of the game, Jota and Salah came with back to back two goals by the 54th minute putting Liverpool 2-1 ahead. But Brentford did not go easy as they equalised soon in the 63rd minute. The game was still not over as Curtis Jones came in with an exceptional rocket goal at the 67th minute to again put Liverpool ahead in the game with 3-2 as the score but Brentford still found their way back and ended up drawing the match at the 82nd minute of the game with 3-3 scoreline.
Manchester City has also been performing exceptionally well in this season as they are not far behind Liverpool and is currently in the 2nd spot in the League table with 4wins, 1draw and 1loss. Manchester City has been giving their everything to defend their title as they won a vital match in their last matchday against Chelsea. The match between Chelsea and Manchester City was going on with both the teams give head to head knock to each other untill in the 53rd minute of the game when Gabriel Jesus found that important goal for Manchester City to put them in front. Chelsea were precise and fast with their attacks but they still were not able to find the net and City ended up bagging 3 points in their name.
