Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Manchester United’s official bid to appoint Mauricio Pochettino, as its new manager following the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester Evening News confirmed the news on its website on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2021. The Red Devils are keen to have the Argentine return to the Premier League mid-season. According to reports, Poch is unsettled at PSG and he is interested in managing Manchester United.
The club sacked Solskjaer following the recent run of results in the league and the Champions League. The 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road triggered the decision to sack the Norwegian. United have won just one game in their last seven Premier League games.

The board has announced that Michael Carrick will act as an interim manager pending when a new coach will be appointed at the club. Carrick took charge of his first game as a United manager in the 2-0 victory over Villareal in the UEFA Champions League.
