Rapper Oladips slams Colleague Qdot for hurriedly declaring he is alive following death announcement

Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has set the record straight, refuting claims that he staged his own death. Contrary to widespread reports suggesting he orchestrated a death ruse for publicity surrounding his latest album, ‘Superhero Adugbo,’ Oladips clarified that such claims are unfounded.

In contrast to the solemn announcement released by his management on November 15, 2023, through his Instagram page, stating that the rapper had passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, a surprising turn of events occurred.

Rapper Qdot and other associates of Oladips took to social media, presenting a contrasting narrative, affirming that Oladips was very much alive and well.

Oladips further addressed the situation by sharing a compelling video confirming his well-being, giving rise to speculations that he might have orchestrated his own demise to generate attention for his upcoming project.

Addressing the rumors on his Instagram story, the rapper pointed fingers at Qdot for the allegations of faking his death. He criticized Qdot for hastily announcing on social media that he was alive “at a time my family was unsure of my situation.”

Expressing his frustration, the rapper lamented that Qdot created a false impression of a conversation between them, emphasizing that they hadn’t spoken throughout this year.

Oladips wrote; “I know there is cruise. There is clout. And then there is truth!

“Qdot, the reason why you posted ‘My gee is alive’ at a time my family was unsure of my situation is so appalling and uncalled for. I dey where I dey struggle with my life, you dey post ‘My gee is alive.’ Unnecessarily misleading everyone. Made it look like me and you just had a conversation.

“Bro, I went through it and anything could have happened. The last me and you had any conversation was January 2, 2022. I get proof and I will soon tell the story in full! Cos why una dey always do like this for this industry tori olorun?”

@YemisiKolaa: This guy should SHUT UP. Your management were the first to post RIP message on your very page. You did not call them out. If you were not dead, why were they quick to post that you were. But you want to drag someone that came out to say you are alive. You faked your death and… Show more.
