Lodi delivered another fantastic cross from the left-hand side and Sime Vrsaljko’s wayward header deflected off Lindelof and onto the crossbar. Had it not been for Fernandes’ vital touch at the front post, the home side would have been two in front.
Atletico hit the bar! A quick free-kick sees Lodi march down the left unopposed to cross for Llorente who heads it downwards but the ball bounces off the bar.
Wan-Bissaka, Matic and Telles come on for Lindelof, Pogba and Shaw. All like for like changes.
Felix’s excellent header is the difference at the break but a woeful United are lucky not to be even further behind.
