JURGEN KLOPP has reached arguably the lowest point of his time at Liverpool and he faces what is now a crunch FA Cup replay at in-form Wolves on Tuesday in a competition that has suddenly become extremely important for them.
Liverpool’s poor season reached a new low at the weekend as they were comfortably turned over by Brighton and the German boss described it as the worst performance since he arrived in 2015.
Certainly, it’s been an appalling campaign for his Liverpool side who are now mid-table also-rans. After 18 league games, Liverpool have scored fewer goals, conceded more, won fewer points and have a worse goal difference than at any time since he arrived.
So a trip to face Wolves at Molineux is now of the utmost importance. And they couldn’t have picked a worse time to face them.
Julen Lopetegui has rejuvenated the Black Country outfit and their only defeats in the last nine games were to Arsenal and Manchester United.
