Brighton begin their post-Graham Potter era under Roberto De Zerbi when they take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Kilamity.
Itβs quite the baptism of fire for De Zerbi, but one the former Sassuolo and Shakhtar manager will no doubt be relishing.
His job will be to continue the stellar work produced by his predecessor, Potter, on the South Coast, and keep the Seagulls hovering around the European places. Jurgen Klopp meanwhile will be aiming to turn Liverpoolβs season around after a half-asleep start to the campaign. The Reds are lurking in eighth and have won only two of their opening six Premier League games.
Andrew Robertson, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remain on the sidelines for Klopp, meaning Kostas Tsimikas is set to continue deputising at left-back for the former, while a midfield composition of Fabinho, Thiago and Harvey Elliott is expected to be deployed by the German.
The hosts could be given a boost by the potential of Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones and Caoimhin Kelleher all returning to give depth to Kloppβs matchday squad.
