Barcelona vs Tottenham (Joan Gamper Trophy 2023)

It is just two days since Tottenham Hotspur dispatched Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 in a friendly in north London. But Spurs are back at it again tonight as they take on Barcelona for the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Ange Postecoglou and his side flew out to Spain on Tuesday morning for the clash against the La Liga champions in what will be their final pre-season match before the new Premier League campaign gets under way.

A number of players played 90 minutes against the Ukrainian side on Sunday, so we are likely to see a changed Spurs team for the match in Barcelona. Tottenham completed the signing of centre-back Micky van de Ven on Tuesday morning, but it remains to be seen whether he has travelled with his new teammates or not.
