Benin currently are third in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers after collecting four points in their opening three games. The team secured an impressive result in the last match defeating Rwanda to secure their first win.
Nigeria are languishing in the fifth position in the table and have endured a difficult campaign so far. Though they are unbeaten in three matches, they have not won any. The Super Eagles secured draws over South Africa, Zimbabwe and Lesotho so far.
