Having missed out in 2016, Denmark are back among Europe’s elite after qualifying for Euro 2020 unbeaten with four wins and four draws from eight games. While not one of the favourites, Kasper Hjulmand’s side are certainly capable of beating the very best sides in this tournament on their day and will be looking to make an early statement here.

While Denmark are regulars on the big stage, Finland are rookies making their first-ever major tournament appearance. Drawn in an extremely tough group also containing Belgium and Russia, little is expected of Markku Kanerva’s side this summer. But that might well play into Finland’s favour — underestimate them at your peril!
