Famous American rapper and actor Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr professionally known as Snoop Dogg has finally quit smoking.
Snoop Dogg announces his decision to bid farewell to smoking in a post shared via his verified Instagram page of 82.5M followers on Thursday, November 16th 2023.
Recall that the 52-year-old rapper on an exclusive preview of Martha Stewart’s iHeartRadio podcast in 2022 disclosed that he started smoking at age of 18.
In the Instagram post, Snoop Dog inspires other Nigerian singers like Burnaboy, Davido, Wizkid, and others who are into smoking that his decision to stop smoking comes after thoughtful consideration and discussions with his family.
Snoop Dog further urge people to respect his privacy this time as he finally quits smoking.
He wrote; “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
