That result moves the Cityzens back within four points of Premier League leaders Arsenal following the Gunners’ 2-3 loss at home to Manchester City’s rivals, Manchester United. Pep Guardiola’s men also squeezed into the top eight in the league phase and advanced to the last-16 of the Champions League in midweek, as they recorded a 2-0 victory over reigning Turkish champions Galatasaray.
