VAR again decides to get involved butcorrectly waves play on. Fikayo Tomori is booked for a poor tackle in the middle of the pitch. Inter make a couple of changes. Federico Dimarco and Edin Dzeko are off with Stefan de Vrij and Romelu Lukaku brought on.
Matteo Darmian has immediate moved over to the left wingback role. Bastoni goes down in the Milan box and is not happy with Krunic, who seems to have smashed into him with a forearm in the chest. A VAR check leads to nothing though. Inter Milan decide to freshen things up with Lukaku coming on for Dzeko for the final 20 minutes of the first leg.

Dzeko has been really good tonight and got the ball rolling for Inter with that early strike. Some career Dzeko has had and he could play a role in reaching a Champions League final. It’s almost as though Inter Milan have gone to sleep. They seem happy with their two goal lead and are dropping deep in an attempt to keep AC Milan quiet.
It’s having an adverse effect as Milan growing more confident in the game. Inter have been quiet in attack in this half but they have another effort on target. Acerbi tries his luck from range but it’s straight down the throat of Maignan. The best moment from AC Milan in this first led. Brahim Diaz breaks into space outside the box and curls an effort goalwards. It is not troubling Onana in the Inter goal as the effort goes wide of the target.
