Carlo Ancelotti’s side began their latest quest for global supremacy with a 1-1 draw against Morocco last Saturday, a match that delivered all three of my recommended bets. Brazil were far from their best in that stalemate, so a sharper performance and all three points will be expected against Haiti.
While Brazil sit third in Group C, they will be aware of how Morocco and Scotland have fared by the time they kick off in the hours leading up to this clash. As for HAITI, they produced a spirited display on their 52-year return to the World Cup stage, but ultimately succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Scotland. With Brazil and Morocco still to come, it is difficult to envisage Les Grenadiers avoiding an early exit from this summer’s showpiece.
