Sparks usaully fly whenever West Ham United and Chelsea collide and both teams head into this London derby with a point to prove after making disappointing starts to the Premier League season. Plenty of pundits tipped the Blues as dark horses for the title after Enzo Maresca’s men won the Club World Cup against the odds in America this summer, dishing out a 3-0 beating to PSG in the final.
The Betting Desk backed them to score a few goals at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday but CHELSEA drew a blank and only escaped with a point after Eberechi Eze had a goal ruled out. Dropping two points on day one was a blow for Maresca’s side but West Ham got off to a much worse start as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Sunderland.
